Cancer Surgery International is a specialist practice dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancers.

 

Modern cancer therapy is complex, and requires multi-disciplinary care and coordination. The surgical oncologist plays a vital role in diagnosing cancer by performing targeted biopsies and removing solid organ tumors through surgery. We work closely with our medical oncology and radiation oncology colleagues to develop a comprehensive treatment plan which may involve radiotherapy and/or systemic therapy in the form of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy.

Every patient is special, and cancer treatment strategy needs to be customized to each person’s unique needs. Patients receive the benefit of many different expert perspectives when their condition is discussed at the tumour board together with expert specialists from nuclear medicine, pathology, and radiology. We carefully consider and formulate customized cancer care plans for every individual, so as to restore our patients to health in the best way going forward.
