Cancers
Cancer refers to a group of diseases that occurs when there is abnormal cell growth, resulting in invasion of organs and associated with the possibility of spread to other organs (metastasis). One sees a cancer specialist when there is a suspicion or a diagnosis of cancer. The symptoms may be varied ranging from an obvious lump, abnormal bleeding from any orifice, for example per/rectal or per-vaginal, or unexplained loss of weight or appetite. Occasionally, the symptoms may be very innocuous with just increased fatigue as the only complaint.
